How To Write A Kids Book About Actors

By Sally Delacruz

While growing up, children need role models and mentors. Many times, they look at people who have succeeded in life as reflections of what they want to be in future. Anyone who wants to write a kids book about actors, therefore, must be very careful not to cause development of negative thought about stars among children. If care is not taken, kids might even disregard the acting profession acting.

It must never be assumed by writers that because its kids book, it should not be written with care. As compared to writing for adults, kids book should always be handled with extra caution than all actors featured in these articles should not be made to appear like gods . Actors should always be real.

In the writing such works, several issues need consideration. Among them are the level of content, the words and phrases used, the amount of content and the level of realism. There should be close observation of these factors lest the wrong material get to the children.

When writing on actors for children, the writer should ensure that the content exposed to the children is not beyond them; it should be moral and fit for children. They should not be exposed to personal lives of actors who are immoral and fond of engaging in dirty activities. The books should also not talk about scenes in there movies that are equally improper. The reason is; these superstars are much adored by children, and writing about the dirty things they do can drive the kids into doing those things.

It is also critical for writers to mind their language while writing such works. The language to be used in writing the book needs to be free of vulgar words and phrases since these are likely to hurt the development of kids in terms of mentality attitudes. Language may also include pictures; they have to be right ones for young people.

The number of pages making up these books should also be reasonable. It is common sense that kids have not developed their reading abilities to a level where they can read a lot of content at ago. Too much content is likely to discourage them, and this defeats the purpose of writing these materials. Writers should therefore, minimize the number of pages in their works.

Even after considering all the factors mentioned above, the qualities of these stars should not be exaggerated. They should be made to look like real human beings whose actions can be done by any other human being. Making them look unrealistic may discourage the kids from working hard. They may think that no one else can do what is done by the stars. If possible, the subjects of the books should be developed from their early lives to current ones.

The discussion above makes it clearly known that a lot of care must be exercised in writing books for children, especially actors. If care is not taken, the intended objectives may not be achieve, but the reverse of this.
