It however does not mean that you have to stick to this line forever. Once you are established you could expand your stock to include cloths as well.

Get your legal papers in order. You should have a valid license that allows you to run this kind of business. There are government offices where you could make application for these licenses. While at it, you can ask of any other requirement you will need to have before opening shop. Once you have everything sorted, you go ahead and open your shop with confidence that the local authority will not give you a hard time.

In this kind of trade, you cannot afford to be an island. You will have to liaise with other players in the industry. The most important partners in this trade are the suppliers. You will need to create good rapport with these suppliers. This will help you run a successful business since your store will be adequately stocked at all times.

You have to take your time to choose a good location for your business. Choice of location is very important in determining how many people will get to your shop on a daily basis. You will be required to choose a location that is within the town where there is human traffic. People who walk past your shop are the ones who would be enticed to step in and shop. If there are no people passing then your sales volumes would be very low.
