With the required equipment, one will be in a better position to put his or her ideas into action producing a masterpiece. Abstract watercolor painting needs some procedures to be perfected to a good creation.

Leave alone the form, texture, line, pattern and color, the art is inclusive of much more. In this article, shape and pattern are elaborated in details. The instructions given below shows clearly the procedure to mix the watercolors when creating the analogous colors. In most cases, the procedure is used to make personal watercolor painting using a variety of colors. Depending on how you want the painting to be like, you can incorporate different shapes.

Firstly, on the watercolor paper, the pencil should then be used to draw some simple shapes on this particular paper. There is a variety of shapes that you can choose to draw from. They include teardrops, trapezoids, rectangles, triangles and circles.

Secondly, make some addition shapes which should be simple using a pencil. Try connecting the already drawn shapes with the new ones. In a way it can be confusing hence the two shapes should be distinguished from each other by use of different colors. Once you have drawn the simple basic shapes, use the watercolors from the tubes or the watercolors in a pan. Your choice will be determined by your budget.

The clear lid of watercolor case will lift up becoming a watercolor palette. In this case, you can now mix the colors. A plain white paper can be used behind the palette since it is clear. This makes it easier to see these colors mixing. After you are through with the painting allow the leftover paint to dry on the palette and eventually close it. This is done if one plans to reuse the already mixed colors later.

Afterwards, take a small brush and choose a particular color. By the color of your choice, paint a selected shapes on your paper. Once you have filled in some few shapes, select another color and place it next to the initial one on the palette. Mix the two colors using a brush. Using the new color attained from the mixing, fill a few shapes.

Taking an example of the first color to be red and the second yellow, the outcome will be orange. White color ought to be added to lighten it. All the paint should not mixed together. By our example, you should leave some red and orange in case they may be required once more. The new pale and ochre color should be used to fill in more shapes. You started with red, to orange and eventually ochre, time to try out something different and maybe darker. This will be attained by mixing red and brown on a palette. Use the resultant color to paint the rest of the shapes.

The above described steps should be followed to mix the colors on a palette and there-after fill in the shapes until all are painted. Some individuals will stop here as their utmost ideal will have come out while other wish to go ahead on more detailed-addict.
