The jihadists have marines as hostages and threaten to kill one every day. It is a battle with time as diplomats and soldiers struggle to find a resolution.

Secret Assault by Helin Don- this novel is based on the Vietnamese war. A massacre happened in My Lai but the military did their best to conceal it. A letter to a congressional representative by one soldier gives away the details. Through the novel, you can feel the divisions in support and against the Vietnamese war.
