Code Geass Anime Review And What Is It All About

By Joanna Walsh

Each country is famous for certain things. But if you talk about Japan, there are certainly a lot of things this country is famous for. One thing is specifically taking over the televisions and the entertainment sector. Anime has staked its place in certain channels all over the world that you can easily see how it has become even more influential. It is even more famous than other shows because of the amazing stories and the different types of characters that you can witness.

If you wish to experience what it has to offer, you should start off with an explosive one. One highly recommended series is known as Code Geass. This is set in a time when robots are the ones used for wars. Many avid fans have attested to the fact that this is one of the best. You should read at least one Code Geass Anime review for you to get the gist of the entire story.

Like many other animes, this is also a story that was derived from the Japanese comics with the same title. The story takes place during the time of the colonization of Britannia when it took over Japan. Although the concept is cliche, you can still see how the makers put it to good used. It was said that people of Japanese blood were considered as cast outs and were stripped of their rights and their freedoms as they were stripped off of their country.

The irony of the story lies in the characters. The main protagonist is a Britannian prince who vowed to be the one to destroy the empire of his father. This is because he witnessed first hand the cruelty of the entire empire. He was sent to Japan to be an instrument of bargain for a peaceful colonization right after his mother was murdered and his sister became blind and catatonic.

There was one incident when he was granted super powers. The ability gives him full control of the mine of a certain individual and make them do what he wills. This is known as the power of the Geass and is his main tool to accomplish his goal of destroying Britannia.

When it comes to shows like this, there are always different elements at play. It is just right for someone who have suffered injustice like the prince to seek for it. However, there are also many contrasting incidents that would make you think if he really is a protagonist or someone who is destroying himself in the process. Most of the viewers think if he could still redeem himself.

There are other people who have taken sides and they usually thought that the protagonist was pitiful. But sooner in the series, they realized what the prince was capable of. And things became more confusing and interesting as the hero does things that is not supposed to be done by someone with a protagonist role.

Many fans have also wanted to watch this because of the good graphics. It cannot be considered as an anime if the graphics is not bad. This is also one of the elements that makes you more intrigued about the series.

As contrasting as it may seem, you can still feel and see that there is humor. It might not be consistent, but it balances the dark concept of the entire plot. Balance is always good to keep things interesting.
