For many years, this has been the theme of various animes in Japan which made it easier to identify among others. The story begins when the Britannian prince was sent to Japan to be exiled. This was a move by the emperor to appease the people. Before his exile, Lelouch vi Brintannia witnessed the death of his mother which then lead to the paralysis and blindness of his sister. These events triggered vengeful emotions form the prince.
There was a time when his life was in danger and a girl which was known as C. C granted him the power of Geass. This enabled him to have control over the mind of anyone he wishes. And this became his most powerful tool in leading the rebellion. The whole crusade cost him a lot of people and his old personality.
This particular anime offered the variety that every viewer needs. The primary character is not someone which would be admired by many. In fact, he would be hated at times because of his ways.
In the graphical aspect, the anime really received a lot of high praises. And it is also evident during the action scenes of the different mechas. Although, there has been some comparisons to other series, the difference is still distinguishable especially if you focus on the story.
The story line of the anime is solid. And you will be able to see twists which you have never expected. There is also a different kind of humor which you will be able to observe as the story progresses. The dark humor somewhat balances the seriousness of the entire story theme.
